Do I need an app?+
No. Just plug it in. The SnapControl app unlocks profiles, the equalizer and updates.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. SoundSnap is fully functional without one — including standard sound profiles and firmware updates. Plus and Pro unlock optional AI features, and the first year of Plus is already included at launch.
What happens after the free year?+
Nothing automatic: the included Plus year simply expires. It only renews if you actively agree — otherwise you continue on SoundSnap Free and your device keeps working fully. And if you do renew, there’s a loyalty offer: the second year for €39.99 instead of €49.99.
Will it drain my battery?+
Around 1% per hour in Eco mode* — and thanks to Power Delivery you can charge at the same time.
Which devices are compatible?+
iPhone 17 and Galaxy S26 at launch — more USB-C smartphones with digital audio output will follow. A compatibility list will be published before launch.
Does it work with a phone case?+
With most thin cases, yes. For thicker cases we're working on suitable solutions.
What warranty do I get?+
A 2-year manufacturer's warranty on top of your statutory rights. Registration by serial number takes one minute.
When does it ship?+
